Starscape is located along the Middle Reach of the Russian River, an area considered by many to be the birthplace of modern California Pinot noir. Daytime temperatures in this area can careen into the warm range, while nights can be quite chilly, and mornings obscured by dense fog. This area is noted for producing wines with lush textures that manage to hold acid. The blocks from which we source our grapes vary in age, lending an extra layer of complexity to the wine.
